SECTION F: PINK STRIPES OF THE PUNA

PINK STRIPES II, PINK STRIPES III, PINK STRIPES I & PIN STRIPES IV, PUNA GRASSLAND

Laguna de Santa Maria is a sight to behold, presenting a scene straight out of a surrealist painting. Nestled amidst the high altitudes of the Andes, the pink tones of the Incahuasi Volcano, a towering sentinel of the Andean landscape, cast a magical reflection on the shimmering waters of the lagoon.

This enchanting setting is home to large colonies of flamingos, their vivid pink hues perfectly matching the reflected tones of the Incahuasi Volcano. The dance of these elegant birds across the lagoon creates an ever-changing background of colour and movement, a living testament to the thriving biodiversity of this region.
